Terminology

Fraternities and sororities often use Greek-letters for their names. This stems back from the studies of the classics in the late 1700s and the introduction of fraternities and sororities to college campuses. There is also specific terminology used within the fraternity and sorority community. To help you navigate this, we’ve put together a list of common fraternity and sorority terms you’ll hear during your experience.
